The PRO Weekend break
I am delighted to say that we are returning to the 'Old Swan Hotel' the hiding place where Agatha Christie fled to when she went missing in 1926 -- gosh one hundred years ago!
2nd-4th October 2026
Enjoy a whole weekend in the company of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra in the beautiful surroundings of Harrogate! this year with special guest Sarah Goodwin.
Friday 2nd October-arrive at your leisure from 3pm

7pm enjoy a welcome drink and meet the Orchestra and fellow guests, musical accompaniment from the 'Pasadena Roof Orchestra Hotsy Totsy Gang'.

8pm a three course dinner with wine and a choice of menu is served in the Ballroom

9.30pm a special concert set from the full Orchestra
Sat 3rd October

2pm Band Leader Duncan Galloway gives a humorous presentation about 57 years of the Pasadena Roof Orchestra - brushes with officialdom, triumphs and catastrophes!

6pm The Pasadena Roof Orchestra Hotsy Totsy Gang will play in the bar during Aperitifs to get you in the mood for the evenings main event..

7.30pm A black tie Gala Dinner (three courses) is served in the Ballroom, the Orchestra will play 3 sets of music for dancing (dress code for the evening is formal, black tie for the gentlemen, or lounge suit if you prefer and best frocks for the ladies, vintage dresses encouraged!) there will be prizes awarded for dress and performance on the dance floor.
Sunday 4th October
After a hearty breakfast why not explore the town of Harrogate or nearby York or the Yorkshire Dales?

Please note spaces for the weekend are limited. The weekend is being promoted exclusively by the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Prices are £198.00 per person per night based on two people sharing a standard classic double room. A small contingent of Executive double rooms is available please mention this at the time of booking (these rooms are available at £218.00 per person per night). Single supplements apply.
